EuropeanQuartet

A new release from ECM in summer 2012 is scheduled. Sleeper is the recording of a concert by the Keith Jarrett European Quartet, given in Tokyo in 1979. This recording, taken from the same japanese tour of Personal Mountains, had been lost, since Manfred Eicher found it 8 weeks ago, sending it to Jarrett for a listening. Jarrett immediately loved it, and decided to release it immediately. This will postpone the publishing of the 2009 Luzern concert, that now is plan in 2013, 30th anniversary of the Trio.

This Quartet recording seems to be really incredible, surprising all Jarrett’s fans.
